The NHS Optical Voucher Scheme is run by the National Health Service, which allows those UK residents who meet the criteria to benefit from 'optical vouchers' which can be used towards eyeglasses and contact lens purchases. These come in the form of 10 optical vouchers and complex lens vouchers, ranging in value depending on the strength of the prescription needed. The stronger your prescription, the higher the value of the optical voucher.

If you are eligible for an optical voucher all you need to do is provide proof to complete your GOS3 optical voucher form. This voucher can only be issued by your Ophthalmic Medical Practitioner or Optometrist following a valid eye test.
