The It-Girl Strikes Again
Everybody in the fashion industry knows it: the 90’s trend is coming back again and it’s coming back hard. Fashion model Gigi Hadid and her crew (Bella, Kendall, Kylie & Hailey) are constantly setting new trends – rock band T-Shirts, chokers, retro sneakers, velvet tops and everything that reminds you of what Cher and her clique would wear in Clueless.
On June 9th, Gigi announced her collaboration with Vogue Eyewear on Instagram.
According to a brand press release, model Hadid is known to be a sunglass addict and owns over 500 pairs! This collaboration is part of the brand’s social media initiative to encourage women to show their internal beauty, which reflects their own unique personality. Gervasini, Vogue Eyewear Global Marketing Manager stated:
“Gigi’s amazing personality and fresh attitude perfectly match the #SHOWYOURVOGUE vision, and that’s why Vogue Eyewear chose her to embody its values and push the campaign to the next level,”

You can see the entire collection here. As Gigi said, there are four different styles: three sunglasses and one eyeglasses. ‘‘Our favourite is the vintage aviator with orange-hue glasses which Gigi is wearing on her IG post (see picture below)
These vintage aviators also come in different lens color options (Blue, Pink, Yellow Gold and Gradient Brown), each having either Silver, Gold or Dark Havana colored frames to match the lens color. Due to the shape of the glasses, it looks good on every face shape – as does it match most people’s personal taste and style. The special part about these glasses; the vintage touch to them. Because not only is the 90’s vibe back and in trend, so will a classic style just like these, never go out of style.
The second best seller is an oval-shaped style with slim frames and pink lenses. These sunglasses are also available in other cute lens colors such as – Light Brown, Blue and Orange. The third pair of sunnies are a classic cat-eye shape which is definitely a pair that had to be included in the collection. These fierce and post 1950’s glasses are available in a range of different styles – all having different color lenses and frame colors (just to spice things up, since Gigi is always edgy).
