Daniel Craig, the latest actor playing James Bond (and another native UK-er) has lit the web abuzz with his stylish shades. For those of you insanely searching blogs for clues of the sunglasses origins—look no further. They are Tom Ford 108 sunglasses, limited editions that were not created for the film, but will perhaps be best remembered by their continued appearance throughout Quantum of Solace. The temple tips are leather of course, (they are made in Italy, where much of the film takes place) and are of the finest glasses and metals. The Ray Ban Aviator –style Tom Fords are a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, the sleek metallic lines and mechanical look bring the aviator flavor to the twenty first century.

He also wears a pair of Persol 2720 frames in the film (you’ll remember them from the insane driving sequence early in the film). These shades recently shot to popularity amid a wave of celebrity sightings.

In his personal life Daniel Craig has been seen (not surprisingly as it is a mounting fashion trend) in Ray Ban Aviators. This style and brand of sunglasses would win any celebrity’s choice award, as star after star has been seen in the shades. From Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Johnny Knoxville and Britney Spears, Daniel Craig is only the latest in a long list of celebrity fans of the Ray Ban Aviators.
