With 2010 right around the corner, your sure to have your eyes peeled for the best fashion tips of the coming season. What’s hot and what’s not isn’t always straight forward in the fashion world. While some brands, like Ray Ban and Emporio Armani, are always in style, here are a few tips to getting more creative in 2010 and getting ahead of the game, in the fashion sense.

2010 sounds so futuristic, so far away, and yet it is right at our doorstep. Fifty years ago people speculated that we’d be living on Mars by 2010, or at least be catering people to and fro for fun outer-space vacations. With the future now upon us, many are embracing new age fashion and music as a tribute to the future, and space-age clothing and eyewear will be in style in 2010.

Take a look at the American Music Awards fashion trends for a hint at what’s to come. Black clothing with silver and gold trim, and a whole lot of futuristic, sexy space suit like clothing. Sunglasses are getting bigger, but more streamlined as well, and hiding the eyes in a very robotic way will be all the rage in coming seasons.

Here are a few brands to keep an eye on if you want to jump on the futuristic fashion wave of 2010. Police sunglasses for men will be a huge hit in coming months because of the dark lenses, streamlined shape and form-fitted designs. For women, Prada’s bubbly and round frames will no longer do, instead check out fresher, alien-like designs by Carrera and Dior.
