Start from our first page and select the type of frames that appeal to you. Maybe you can ask yourself a couple of questions before selecting your frames:
1.What brand do you prefer?
2.What design (full rimmed, semi-rimless or rimless) do you prefer?
3.What material (acetate, metal and titanium) do you prefer?
4.What colour do you prefer?
We have a wide selection of high quality frames for you to choose from. You can check the detailed information (including the measurements) of a specific frame by clicking on the thumbnail image of that frame.
To select the correct size glasses, you can use the measurements of your current eyeglasses as a guide. Read more below about " How to read the measurements of the frames" below. Actually most of our frames will work for most people. If you want to have some minor adjustments made when you receive your frames you will find that most optical stores will do it for you for free.
We provide measurements for every frame on our website in the following formats so that you can choose the frames that are best suited to your face.

Lens Diameter: 40mm |
Bridge Width: 15mm |
Arm Length: 135mm |
Lens Depth: 29mm |
The best, quickest and easiest way of choosing the best fit for you is to note down the measurements of your current pair to give you a guide. Most frames have three measurements on the inside of an arm:

The Arm Length and Bridge Width will determine the fit and comfort of the frames. The Lenses Diameter (width) and Depth (height) influence the style of glasses. Hence, these factors are respective to your individual preferences.
As a general rule of thumb, people with narrow faces suit narrow frames. These 4 measurements do not need to match exactly, but if they are close to your current glasses, they will result in a similar fit.
Sorry! We do not re-glaze glasses at the current time due to the complexity of the shipping issue.

Our premium Anti-Reflective Coating is ideal for computer use and driving at night. The coating works by increasing the light transmission through the lenses, providing you with the clearest, sharpest vision at all times. Any great-looking pair of glasses will look even better: people will see your eyes through the lenses, not the light reflection! An Anti-Reflective Coating is included on your lenses free of charge - there is no extra amount to pay. This extra coating is normally priced at $50 at your local optician!
Just as we use sunscreen to keep the sun's UV rays from harming our skin, UV treatment in eyeglass lenses blocks those same rays from damaging our eyes. This UV treatment is normally priced at $30 to $50 at your local optician! We use Polycarbonate Lenses that don't need anti-UV treatment because it is an inherent property of the material. In this sense, this protection is included on your lenses free of charge - there is nothing extra to pay.
To make the optimal choice for your personal situation, use the chart below as a guideline. In general, the thickness at the lens edge depends on your own prescription. If you have a high SPH range then we recommend a thinner lens technology to ensure that your glasses will not be too thick and heavy.
Tinted lenses - You can wear them anytime outdoors and not have to search for sunglass clip-ons or deal with contact lenses in situations such as the beach, when skiing, or doing a variety of other outdoor activities. The colour options include blue, pink, grey and brown.
Photochromic or Transition lenses automatically darken to a moderate shade when they are exposed to the ultra-violet rays of direct sunlight. When the direct sunlight is removed, the lenses lighten again. We provide two colour options - grey and brown.
No. We do not recommend that you wear the frames you purchase as they come without proper lenses. The plastic lenses that frames come withdo not give your eyes the adequate protection they need and could potentially harm your eyes. We recommend purchasing Plano or zero prescription lenses by clicking on the Plano (clear costume lenses) button at the top of the first prescription page. Our Plano lenses are exactly the same lenses as those used for prescription purposes and are completely clear. These are priced at $19.95.
Yes. Simply choose your desired frame by clicking on the thumbnail picture of the frame. This will take you through to the detailed product page for the frame. If you had an eye exam within the last year, call your eye doctor and ask him to send you your prescription. You also need to collect your PD measurement which is the distance between your pupils. This information should be on file with the optical shop where you last purchased your glasses - feel free to call the shop to ask. Optical professionals are required by law to release this information - it is your property. If you need a new prescription, go to an optometrist and get an eye exam. Through Medicare, it is possible to obtaina freeeye testfor all eligible cardholders, howeverthis depends onyour Optometrist and their ability to bulk bill. Please doublecheck this with your Optometristwhen making an appointment to see them.At the time of the exam, be sure to ask the eye doctor to measure your PD and write it down on your prescription. Having your prescription and PD in your possession will allow you to buy glasses from any store you wish. See below for how to measure your PD by yourself with the help of a friend.
Each of the numbers written in a box on your prescription should correspond with a drop-down box on our prescription page. Simply select the number in the drop down box corresponding to the same heading or field on your prescription document.

Your pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between the centers (pupils) of your eyes, measured in millimeters. Pupillary Distance (PD) is something you can measure yourself with the help of a friend. Your eye care professional can also provide you with this information.

(1) Some common prescription abbreviations:
O.D. or OD = right eye
O.S. or OS = left eye
SPH or sph = SPHERE power; the "overall" power
CYL or cyl = CYLINDER power; the amount of astigmatism
ADD = how much power gets added to the distance Rx, for your reading-only Rx
P.D. or PD = pupillary distance (the distance in between your 2 pupils in millimeters (mm)
(2) Some doctors write their prescriptions in plus (+) sphere/cylinder and some in minus (-) sphere/cylinder. They are not the same. Take special note of this when entering your prescription later. If you don't see anything there, leave it blank.
(3) It is common for the doctor to sometimes leave out the decimal points. If you see a number like -25 or +175, it is understood that your doctor means -0.25 or +1.75, respectively. Also, an axis of 5 (or 05) is the same as 005 90 is the same as 090. It's like using abbreviations or writing in short-hand.
(4) If you have no astigmatism (CYL) in one or both eyes, your doctor may just write the sphere power alone, or may use placeholders like sph ("sphere") or D.S. ("diopters sphere") instead.
(5) If you have a prescription for bifocals, and you only see one ADD power, it's understood that you have the same ADD for both eyes. If you don't see an ADD power, leave it blank. We accept all major credit cards through the trusted Paypal e-Commerce banking system.
